C.H. Padliya & Co. was established in 1950 as a tax advisory and audit firm. It has since expanded to cover a wide array of assurance and other financial advisory services. It has consistently ranked amongst the top professional advisory firms in Central India and has a well established reputation for delivering quality and excellence in all its services.

The evolution of C.H. Padliya & Co. can be broadly divided into three stages:

Birth to 1980’s - Carving a position among the lead taxation compliance, litigation & advisory firms

The firm was founded by Mr. C.H. Padliya based on the beliefs of professional excellence and integrity. In its early years the focus of the practice was offering a wide array of taxation services to corporates and individuals.

Decade of the 1980’s to the new millennium - New opportunities, initiatives and challenges

The decade of the 1980’s saw a sea of change, marked by the induction of new partners into the firm , Mr. Arun Padliya and Mr. Sudhir Padliya. They represented the next generation of the family, and brought with them new ideas for growth of the existing traditional tax practice. Through innovation and consolidation the focus of the firm shifted from personal taxation to corporate taxation and auditing.

In 1990’s with the liberalization of the Indian economy, the partners at C.H. Padliya & Co. realized that the need for every business would soon be advisory services in the legal and financial field. Thus, with the turn of the century the legal and financial advisory by the firm was started.

The New Millennium – Technological advancement, diversification and change

The firm recognized that technological advancement and change would be imperative for its growth and survival in the face of competition that was faced from multinational companies, which were now allowed to compete in the Indian markets. This New Millennium was recognised by induction of another new partner Mr. Vipul Padliya, representing the third generation of the family, who saw the firm the need for an information systems expert, and the traditional assurance focus shifted to auditing paperless environments.

The firm has increased its focus on newer areas like Mergers and Acquisitions, De-mergers, Transfer Pricing etc., giving the firm an ability to compete globally.
