Lt. C.A. C.H. Padliya [08.01.1927-23.09.2008] born at Pratapgarh, Rajasthan, completed his primary education from Pratapgarh in Rajasthan. He did his graduation (B.Com) in the year 1946 from Holker College of Science and Commerce, Indore (Affiliated to Agra University).He completed his article-ship from Mumbai and passed the chartered accountants examination in the year 1949 in his first attempt.

He selected his area of professional working at Indore and commenced the practice in the year 1950 by laying foundation of C.H. Padliya & Co.

During the sixty years of the practice he had successfully dealt with almost every area open for a chartered accountant such as income tax, company law matters, sales tax, audits and management audits.He had pleaded a good number of the Appeals before The Income Tax Appellate Tribunal and Commissioner of Income Tax Appeals and was an active member of Bar at Income Tax Appellate Tribunal Indore. He also had a rich experience of statutory audit of P.S.U.s, companies, insurance companies, bank branches, stock audit, concurrent audit of banks branches.

In addition to the practice, he was also actively associated with social activities. He was trustee for a number of organizations.

A certificate of honor has been issued by the apex body of the Chartered Accountant Profession i.e. I.C.A.I. recognizing his active involvement in the profession for continous period of fifty years. He has also been honored by Nagar Palika, Pratapgarh; Humar Yuva Manch, Mumbai; Humar Samaj, Indore and Indore Branch of CIRC of ICAI for his contributions.
